Who we are looking for

Are you a strong communicator who enjoys direct interaction with customers? At the same time, do you feel comfortable in a scientific and technical neuroscience environment and know how to talk to researchers and scientists at eye level? Then we are looking for you! Whether you already have sales experience or come from another field – if you think analytically, can familiarize yourself with new topics and enjoy helping customers improve the world, you’ve come to the right place.

Your job

🔍 Developing customers & markets: Identifying and approaching new customers, especially from research & science
🎤 Personal customer contact: Building and maintaining long-term relationships – by email, video call or in person
🧑‍💻 Live demos & presentations: Show our customers what our technology can do – directly and hands-on
📊 Consulting & sales: You understand our customers’ needs and develop suitable solutions
📝 Project support: From the initial inquiry to contract conclusion – and beyond!

What you contribute

✅ Degree in neuroscience, psychology, cognitive science or comparable qualification
✅ Enjoy direct interaction with customers – whether via video call or on site
✅ Very good command of English (for international customer communication)
✅ Knowledge of German is an advantage, but not a must (ideal for international applicants!)
✅ Structured, independent way of working and team spirit
✅ Experience in neuroscientific data collection and experimental design (plus points)

We’re growing fast and our multicultural and dynamic team is looking for a working student to contribute to our open source and proprietary codebase. This role does not require full expertise, however, work experience and evidence of professional software development will be looked upon favourably.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other team members and researchers to design and implement solutions based on user requirements in an agile development environment.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for real-time biosensor data processing and visualization, ready for cross-platform deployment.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Bugfix across backend and GUI respositories.

Required experience

• Bachelors or Masters student in computer science or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with Git and data processing libraries, such as NumPy and SciPy.

Ideal experience

• Understanding of computer graphics fundamentals and architectural principles of data visualization.
• Experience with mobile application development (Android and/or iOS).

We’re growing fast and our multicultural and dynamic team is looking for a working student to prototype and assemble our devices. This role does not require expertise as we will train you on the job. However, experience with overcoming engineering challenges and hardware/software experience will be looked upon favourably.

Responsibilities

• Manually assemble and test of our BLE devices.
• Rapidly prototype our devices using Arduino, Raspberry Pi or ESP32.
• Develop test cases for BLE devices in Python.

Required experience

• Bachelors or Masters student in computer science or electronics.
• Basic knowledge of Python and Git.

Ideal experience

• Experience of other programming languages (particularly C).
• Basic experience with Arduino or Raspberry Pi or similar.
• Soldering skills.
